Data controller

Signal Forgehub, Level 6, 73 Gänsemarkt, Hamburg 20354, is the controller for personal data described here. Contact info@signal-forgehub.digital for privacy questions.

Data we collect and why

When you enquire, we receive your name, email, selected service, optional moving month and message. If you book, we may also process billing details and information you choose to provide about your household, destination, employment timing, accommodation and expected expenses. We use this data to answer enquiries, prepare and deliver the requested service, administer invoices, meet legal duties and establish or defend claims.

Our legal bases under the GDPR are steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in secure administration and service improvement. Where consent is the appropriate basis, you may withdraw it prospectively.

Sharing and processors

We disclose data only where needed to service providers supporting email, secure file storage, video meetings and accounting, or where law requires it. Processors act under contracts and instructions. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Unbooked enquiry messages are ordinarily deleted after 12 months. Session materials are generally retained for two years after completion so we can answer follow-up questions and manage claims. Invoices and required accounting records are retained for statutory periods, commonly up to ten years in Germany. We delete or anonymise data when the applicable purpose and retention duty end.

International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use an adequacy decision, EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards as applicable. Details relevant to your data are available on request.

Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. You may withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, including the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Security and required information

We apply proportionate access controls, device protection and retention procedures. No internet transmission is risk-free. Information marked as required in the contact form is necessary for a useful response; you need not provide sensitive personal or financial account data.
